Voxer, the live “push-to-talk” system and voice messaging system, has now released its official desktop app for Windows 8 users, as we’re still waiting for the touch-enabled version to make its way.

Those of you Voxer Business users who are using Windows desktops and laptops can now go ahead and download the Voxer Windows Desktop app on your devices (link at the end of the article). By using the software, Windows 8 users, as well as Windows 7 and Vista, can send and receive live and recorded voice, text and image messages directly from thedesktop. There’s no difference between the Voxer Windows Desktop and the other mobile Voxer apps. Here’s what one Voxer representative said:
