Not feeling well, yet too far from the hospital? Visit a Shell service station. Your doctor has been brought nearer. Access to pharmacy and health hub services to Ugandans is still a big challenge, and Vivo Energy Uganda has signed a partnership agreement with GoodLife Pharmacy to widen the availability of these services for customers. The partnership will see the GoodLife pharmacy stores set up within existing Shell service stations across the country.
With the convenience-seeking customer numbers steadily growing, Vivo Energy Uganda is in the process of revamping the existing Shell service stations to not only include high-quality fuels and lubricants, but also offer services including shops, quick service restaurants, pharmacies, ATMs, tyre centres and car wash facilities.
During the inauguration of the partnership at Shell Namirembe, Gilbert Assi, Managing Director Vivo Energy Uganda said that Vivo Energy has invested in convenience retailing to offer a wider range of services to both customers who fuel and service their vehicles at Shell service stations, as well as walk in customers.
He also thanked the partners and staff who have made it possible to deliver convenient solutions to our mutual customers.

Chris Kieu, the Goodlife Pharmacies’ Group CFO noted that their commitment is dependent on the customers’ support and they shall endeavour to build more partnerships to realise this vision.
Chief Pharmacist, Sarah Ameso, noted that since its establishment in Uganda in 2016, GoodLife has endeavoured to support the National Drug Authority’s mandate to provide quality pharmaceutical products and services across the country.
Goodlife Pharmacy and Shell Namirembe will run a number of promotions on cosmetics and baby products from 27th June to August 30th 2018.
