Update Microsoft Releases Kb4013198 For Windows 10 Version 1511

Patch Tuesday is back and with it comes a set of new updates for every supported version of Windows including Windows 10 version 1511, which got cumulative update KB4013198. The new update mainly focuses on addressing known issues affecting the system instead of bringing any new features.

Cumulative update KB4013198 fixes a series of bugs, including Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge problems, File Explorer crashes, issues with OpenGL, and more.

Additionally, the new update brings regular security patches for various Windows 10 features, including “Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Uniscribe, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Hyper-V, Server Message Block, Windows Media Player, Microsoft Windows PDF Library, SHA-1 deprecation for SSL/TLS certificates, and Microsoft XML Core Services”

Besides cumulative update KB4013198 for Windows 10 version 1511, the most recent Patch Tuesday also brings new cumulative updates for other versions of the system. Windows 10 version 1607 received cumulative update KB4013429 while Windows 10 version 1507 (initial release) got cumulative update KB4012606.
