Reddit users recently published a few images featuring a brand new look for Windows 10’s search interface, which bears a striking resemblance to Mac OS’ very own Spotlight.

Some users went as far as to stat that:
Others went even further and stated that Mac OS’ Spotlight is:
The thing that Spotlight has over Windows Search is that it can find things. When you come from Windows, it just feels revolutionary when really, it does its job OK, but it’s by no means great.
Given that there are plenty of third-party apps available on the Microsoft Store which are meant to enhance Windows 10’s native search function, it seems that Microsoft finally decided to take matters into their own hands.

However, if we are to take the community’s opinion into account, it definitely should.
