Black Friday is slightly more than one week away, and if you’re in the market for nice Windows 8.1 tablet, you might be interested in this. E FUN has announced that 8-inch its Nextbook tablet will be available on Black Friday for $99. A few days back, we talked about the E Fun Nextbook as the first 2-in-1 convertible 10.1-inch Windows tablet priced below $200. Now the company hopes to maintain the interest surrounding its cheap products by announcing that it’s going to sell a tablet for less than $100 this Black Friday.
E FUN will launch its Nextbook 8 tablet on Black Friday for just $99, giving budget-conscious users a Windows 8.1 slate in the sub-$100 range. The Windows tablet from Nextbook will be available at Walmart retail stores as part of a Black Friday deal.
Consumer will also get a 16GB microSD card which will double the 16GB of internal storage. The tablet also comes with a one-year subscription to Office 365 alongside 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage.
The 8-inch display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and features just a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2-megapixel rear one. Powering the device is an Intel Atom quad-core Z3735G 1.8GHz processor and just 1GB of RAM.
Connectivity optiones include both 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, and there’s a micro HDMI port and a standard headphone jack. The tablet will be bundled along the 16GB micro SD card through December 31.
As we can see from the specs, this is a pretty basic device and we wonder whether 1GB of RAM will be enough to have Windows 8.1 run smoothly. But if you want basic functions, then you can consider this purchase.
