The latest update for the Xbox beta app for Windows 10 brings along a new light theme. Previously, the app used to have a dark theme, and you didn’t get any option to change it, even if you tweaked your PC settings. But now, the app supports both a dark and a light, neat-looking theme, as gamers confirm on Reddit.

The Xbox beta app is somehow like a Windows Insider Fast ring version of the regular Xbox app. You can download it from the Windows Store. The app receives new features and changes earlier than the standard Xbox application which comes with Windows 10.

They added ‘Light’ as an additional option but ‘Dark’ is still available to choose from still. Remember you have to fully close the app and restart for it to appear.

There’s nothing much more to see in the update even if we must say that the introduction of a brand new light theme gives the application an overhaul in itself.

Xbox beta app features

The app helps you stay connected to the Xbox Live community. You can view gamers’ activity, watch game clips, send messages, find new friends, and do more fun things across Windows 10 devices.

You can party chat with other gamers on the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, and you can also join them in cross-device multiplayer. You’ll be able to stream and play games from your Xbox One to any Windows 10 PC from your home.

You can now celebrate major gaming accomplishments and share clips or view your achievements and scores across Xbox One consoles and other devices running Windows 10.
