Transsion Holdings is the company that owns Tecno, Infinix, iTel and even Oraimo. Infinix has the Infinix Zero X series with the Infinix Zero X Pro leading the pack. Then there is Tecno with the Phantom X and now the Camon 18 Premier in the upper echelon of Transsion smartphones. They all have their selling points and target market. Nonetheless, they share features as well which might put them in the crosshair of the same pool of customers.

In that regard, this is meant to make the choice a bit easier for y’all and also for you to see how they compare side by side. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, here are the specs side by side.

These three are the most expensive smartphones you can get from either Tecno and Infinix at the moment and they represent the top of the shelf smartphone offering from these two Transsion smartphone brands. Taking a look at them, there is an obvious similarity between the Infinix Zero X and the Tecno Camon 18 Premier as they are both heavily invested in the camera more than the Tecno Phantom X. However, the Tecno Camon 18 Premier edges out the Infinix Zero X Pro in mobile videography thanks to the gimbal stabilization and portrait video with the 50mm portrait lens.

On the other hand, the Tecno Phantom X edges the rest out when it comes to design with its curved screen and frame combined with the attractive finish on the back. This is not to say that the Tecno Camon 18 Premier and Infinix Zero X Pro don’t have an attractive design but it is not as attractive as that of the Phantom X.

Other areas like display, battery, OS (all have Android 11 with their respective UI) and charging (slightly higher on the Infinix Zero X Pro) are all quite similar. Furthermore, the Transsion trinity has an 8GB RAM, Helio G95 (for Zero X Pro & Phantom X) and G96 (Camon 18 Premier) which means just about the same power on these smartphones. However, though the two processors have the same clock speed of 2.05GHz, the Helio G96 is still the better processor here. Cost-wise, the nice design on the Tecno Phantom X shoots it higher with about ₦38, 000 ($66) – ₦45, 000 ($80) difference.
