TeamViewer is a remote control service that offers users the possibility to control another computer. Through TeamViewer, a team leader can remote control another member’s computer or mobile device and directly implement changes to work in progress. It is also a great way to solve problems remotely — sort of a “Here, let me do it” approach.

The service has been met with positive feedback over the years and is now considered a working standard by many corporations and enterprise-level businesses. In this article, we’ll be going over the latest version of TeamViewer that was released: TeamViewer 12.

Higher Values

With TeamViewer 12, the developer is promising noticeably higher values on all charts, such as file transfer speed. This is one of the focus points of the build as TeamSpeak will now be able to transfer files 20 times faster than its previous version while also keeping a steady framerate of up to 60 FPS.

New Interface

With a brand new user interface, TeamViewer 12 offers great support across all platforms, not just Windows PCs. For that reason, new features have been also added to the macOS version of TeamViewer. Specifically, with regards to multi-tasking, Sierra users will be able to enjoy different remote control sessions across multiple tabs. There is also a mobile version of TeamViewer 12 developed for Android and iOS only accessible to the Premium customers. You can still get TeamViewer 12 free of charge for personal use, but businesses can choose between Business, Premium and Corporate packages.

The new implementations for TeamViewer paired with the features already available prior to the launch of the new version make the service even better and reliable to use.
