TCP Monitor Plus is a network testing and monitoring application that provides traffic-related data along with ping and tracking tools. The tool helps you keep track of network connections for every adapter that connects to your PC so you can view details related to data traffic, bandwidth, network activities, or packets and their routes.
Real-time network monitoring
TCP Monitor Plus includes a bevy of tools that come in handy for network administrators. It lets users monitor network traffic in real time for certain network adapters so they can use the tool to retrieve data regarding data traffic and packet transmission as they occur.
The tool displays a graphical representation of transfer speed, highlighting minimum and maximum values. TCP Monitor Plus also shows the transferred packets, IP addresses, used ports, protocols, hostnames of the data exchanging computers, and date stamps.
Additionally, the tool lets you monitor network sessions, showing active connections and helping you block specific connections using the packet-filtering feature. TCP Monitor Plus also produces a statistical report that shows the incoming datagrams and detected errors.
Network monitoring toolset
TCP Monitor Plus also includes the NSLOOKUP, NETSTAT, WHOIS, PING and TRACEROUTE features. Unlike other networking monitoring tools that you can access through the command console, TCP Monitor Plus helps you navigate to the designated tab to open those features.
The tool remains concealed in the system tray when you choose to minimize it to avoid interfering with your current task. If you wan quick information about network traffic, enable the mini-monitor feature. It displays network traffic data in a small window that floats on your screen. Otherwise, you can opt to schedule when a popup screen appears to display network traffic information.
Using the network monitoring and testing toolkit requires advanced skills and technical know-how in handling the given information. You can download TCP Monitor Plus from OGA’s website.
