When you’re constantly recharging your data with small packets of “MBs” that clock within minutes, it can be annoying. That’s why internet providers should start thinking of unlimited internet plans a bit more seriously. Smile Uganda is the latest internet service provider to add the unlimited internet data plan to its data packages.
Smile’s unlimited package dubbed “SmileUnlimited” is priced at UGX 179,000 per month. For this deal, Smile promises 2Mbps speeds as long as you don’t exceed 25GB per month data limit. But when you do, like the other providers, your internet speeds will be slowed down to 512Kbps.

Compared to the other internet providers in Uganda with Unlimited internet data packages, Smile comes second to Vodafone Uganda in-terms of price. However, Smile edges out Vodafone when it comes to 4G LTE network coverage. Smile Uganda has expanded its 4G LTE network to Wakiso Town, Mbarara, Kabale and Fortportal districts.
