As you may be aware, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and many people are already considering all their options in terms of special things they can do. You might have already bought a present or token of affection for your loved one, but there are never enough ways to express your feelings.

In that sense, you can add one more thing of cute things you can do by using the new Skype features that are especially designed for the upcoming event. To offer something special for Valentine’s Day, Skype is releasing a collection of new emojis to celebrate. This effort comes in collaboration with an independent company called Rogue Octopus.

They are not what you might be expecting, however. These are more complex and offer a story. Each one has its own story, but all of them follow the same concept of two people and how they progress through the various phases of love. You can “unwrap” these special offerings on Valentine’s Day with someone special on the other side of the message.

Skype New Features

If that’s not enough for you and think you need more to truly express yourself, there is another new feature you might be interested in. Valentine’s Day cards are no longer just a physical object which you can send via post mail. Now, you can use Skype to send a special card to your loved ones. It will let you record a short video message and it will then add floating hearts to it. This will surely pack enough punch to make someone’s day, so don’t hesitate to make and send yours as soon as the new Valentine’s Day features are made available.
